Connected to Tortola by a thread of a bridge, Frenchman's Cay lies off the West End with a view across the Narrows Channel to St. John. A great get-away spot yet close to Soper's Hole marina, shops, restaurants, and the ferry dock for a 45-minute trip to St. Thomas, or around the island to Roadtown. This resort is at the opposite end of Tortola from the airport, so fly to St. Thomas and take the ferry over.

The resort's 12 landscaped acres are ideally situated on the windward side of the island and feature only nine one- or two-bedroom roomy villas for a private, romantic vacation or honeymoon, or an ideal active family vacation. Each villa comes with a full kitchen, living and dining room, and covered terrace overlooking the deep blue Caribbean Sea. The resort offers several packages including accommodations, meals, jeep rental, and use of kayaks, sunfish sailboats, snorkels, tennis, and the pool. A beautiful white sand beach stretches along the shoreline complete with hammocks tied between the palm trees for your afternoon nap. Soper's Hole is just a mile away where you can catch the ferry, arrange a scuba dive trip, charter a sailboat, eat at Pusser's, and browse the shops along the wharf.

The Clubhouse Restaurant at Frenchman's Cay Hotel features an award winning French and West Indian cuisine reasonably priced and elegantly presented. The wide menu variety ensures there will be many entrees to please every palette. Try the Steak Au Poivre or one of the fresh seafood specialties. Reservations are needed, as only 10 tables are served nightly.

The perfection of the restaurant and the privacy of this resort are the result of years of searching, building, and refining a dream by Pam and Terry Kennedy. As former island vacationers they know how to create the idyllic vacation paradise for everyone to enjoy.
